In this shadowing-style, in-person mentoring session, you’ll follow me through a real photoshoot and learn how to photograph hair and makeup as the artist(s) created it. My approach is all about honoring the artistry—not changing it with filters, edits, or heavy-handed stylistic choices. You’ll see exactly how I preserve texture, skin color accuracy, glow, dimension, and detail so the final images reflect what the human and the artist actually created together. We’ll walk through: - How to read makeup and hair under different lighting - How to choose angles that protect the integrity of the look - How to avoid editing mistakes that dull, flatten, or shift the artist’s work - How I create flattering, clean beauty content without overpowering the subject - How to deliver photos that make beauty artists feel seen, supported, and proud of their work This is a hands-on shadowing session—expect to observe, ask questions, and get insight into my real workflow from prep , photographing, editing, to final shots.
